Complimentary Website Analysis of

Criteria Used for Analysis

Your websites should be customer-centric, mobile-friendly, fast and search engine optimized.

Customer Friendly

An effective website is centered on the needs and wants of your customers. It must help meet your customer needs, answer their questions and eliminate their doubts. A customer-centric website results to customer loyalty, sales and word of mouth advertising.

Mobile FriendlyMobile Friendly / Responsive

You must make sure that your message gets across your customers, whether they are using mobile or desktop. More than half of viewers use mobile. Did you know that Google and other search engines LOVE responsive web design? Yes! The more responsive, the higher the chances of getting indexed, improving SEO visibility.

Search Engine OptimizedSearch Engine Optimized

Websites do not automatically get included in the search results of Google and other search engines. “Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of increasing the likelihood of a website or a web page to show up in a search engine’s “natural” or unpaid (“organic”) search results. The most popular search engine is that of Google. There are 2 types of SEO work – on page optimizations and off page optimizations. The on page optimizations will make sure that your website is readable for both human readers and search engine bots.

Loads Fast

Faster websites give better customer experience, convert better and rank higher in search engines. Slow websites will make you lose customers.

Is your website customer-friendly?

1. List of Products or Services

Be up-front and tell your prospect what products and/or services you provide. Your prospect came to your website looking for something. If he is looking for burglar alarms, tell him you provide burglar alarms. If he is looking to improve his selling skills and you provide sales coaching, tell him that you can help him.

2. Unique Selling Proposition

More than just providing a list of your products and services, you should provide your unique selling proposition (USP). This is what sets you apart from other similar vendors. Your prospect is asking, “Why should I buy from you and not from your competitor?”

3. Proof of Excellent Work (Clientele or Portfolio)

Provide a sampling of clients whom you have served satisfactorily. This communicates that you already have experience and that you know what you’re doing. This will also give the prospect an idea whether you are capable of providing what he needs.

4. Trust Badges (Testimonials, Awards, Certifications or Seals)

Give short testimonials from specific clients. Ask your clients to give a testimonial of how you have helped them solve their problem. If your product/service has received an award, show that as well. This will help build trust between you and your prospect.

5. Call to Action

Finally, make sure you have a specific call to action in your home page. Don’t just provide information about your company and how you can help your prospect. Lead them into taking action. The action can be calling you on the phone, sending an email inquiry, or anything that will take them one step closer to actually availing of your product or service.

6. Proper Use of Social Media

Today social media is the most effective form of word of mouth marketing. Add Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube and other social media profiles, depending on which accounts you are able to manage. Show the number of followers if it is more than a thousand followers already. If your followers are less than 1000, use the plain social media icon (without numbers). Encourage your clients to share your content. Post positive client stories on social media channels.

7. Do you provide good customer service?

Provide a means to submit questions or concerns via a contact form, ticketing system or live chat. If you have a physical store, provide the address and directions on how to reach your place. Add an FAQ page.
